No last-gasp loans - O'Kelly
Doncaster Rovers, 15:28, November 25, 2009 ,
Assistant boss Richard O'Kelly has confirmed that Doncaster are unlikely to make any loan signings ahead of Thursday's deadline.
Rovers have been down to the bare bones at times this term and boss Sean O'Driscoll had just one central defender to select from in the defeat at Plymouth Argyle. However with defender Jason Shackell, Adam Lockwood and Byron Webster all featuring in a behind-closed-doors practice match against Barnsley on Tuesday, O'Kelly says the need for new blood is now not as intense.
"I would think it is doubtful that we'll be bringing anyone in because we've got all these players back and it gives us more strength in depth," O'Kelly told the Star.
He added: "Because of the improvements we've made to medical back-up since we've been here players are somewhere near when they come back - they probably just need games.
"They all came through and there would be no problem at all playing any of them at Nottingham Forest on Saturday."
