O'Driscoll confident of best-ever finish
Doncaster Rovers, 14:40, April 19, 2010 ,
Sean O'Driscoll admits Doncaster's end of season has been "difficult" but is confident they can secure their best-ever league placing.
A run of three consecutive defeats was finally ended by the draw at Ipswich on Saturday and Rovers are closing in their highest-ever Football League placing as they look to beat last year's 14th place in the Championship.
With that record to beat, O'Driscoll is sure his players will not lose focus in the two games that remain.
He said: "It's difficult coming to the end of the season. You want to maintain certain things and we've said to the players that we felt we've done that over the last three or four games.
"We've maintained a level of performance and a level of desire - and a level of enthusiasm - that has unfortunately not got us any points.
"But it was a good point for us (at Ipswich) going forward with two games left to go.
"We have a big local derby next weekend and an away trip to Swansea, where you think they may need something from the game to cement their play-off place. They're both big games for us."
