Rovers to monitor injured trio
Doncaster Rovers,
Last updated:
Doncaster will assess a trio of players before their encounter with fellow strugglers Portsmouth.
Frederic Piquionne, El-Hadji Diouf and Brian Stock are the three players whose fitness will come under scrutiny as Rovers look to end a run of nine games without a win. On-loan West Ham striker Piquionne missed the 2-1 home defeat to Burnley with a calf injury but could come back into the frame, while Diouf also sat out the Clarets clash with a leg injury sustained in the heavy loss at Leicester. Brian Stock replaced Diouf at the King Power stadium but lasted just 22 minutes against Burnley before he too was withdrawn with a knock. Habib Beye (ankle) is doubtful, while midfielder Martin Woods (knee) and forward Habib Bamogo (hamstring) remain sidelined.
