Rovers wait on Brown
Doncaster are sweating on the fitness of Chris Brown ahead of their Capital One Cup game with Hull.
The striker limped off after 64 minutes of the 1-0 defeat against Crawley at the weekend, as his run of scoring in every game this season came to an end.
Midfielder James Coppinger replaced Brown on Saturday and could be given a start against the Championship side, providing he has not left the club.
Saunders is expecting the player to leave ahead of the transfer window closing on Friday. "I would imagine before the transfer deadline that someone will make an offer for him," he told the Sheffield Star.
Doncaster are once again likely to be unable to fill their quota of seven substitutes. The six subs named on Saturday was the most Saunders has managed this season.
