Striker could leave Rovers

Doncaster Rovers, 18:27, March 31, 2010 ,

Assistant boss Richard O'Kelly has indicated that on-loan striker Paul Heffernan could complete a move in the summer.

The former Notts County frontman struggled to gain regular first-team football at the Keepmoat this season and is currently on loan at Bristol Rovers.
Although nothing has been finalised yet, O'Kelly accepts that Heffernan could decide to move at the end of the season.
Sean O'Driscoll's number two said: "Paul is thoroughly enjoying himself while getting some games on loan at Bristol Rovers.
"Heff is a player that wants to play regularly, like any player does, and he gets better the more games he plays. Unfortunately he was just a squad player here and to get the best out of him was to get him out on loan for some games."
