Trio in striker race

Doncaster Rovers, 13:57, July 8, 2010 ,

Doncaster are hoping to take Wolves striker Andy Keogh on loan for the new season but Leeds and Barnsley are also keen.

Leeds have not been able to agree a fee with Wolves to take the 24-year-old to Elland Road and Barnsley have also come accross the same problem as Wolves look for the best price they can get.
Doncaster want to re-unite the Republic of Ireland international with his striker partner from Scunthorpe, Billy Sharp, and are looking to secure a loan deal.
Boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "To put Andy and Billy together again is something to consider.
"You talk to a lot of clubs about players without making a concrete offer and we've done that with Andy.
"It will all depend on what Andy's situation is with Wolves.
"He knows a lot of our players and he certainly interests us."
