Defender bid snubbed

Dundee United have turned down an offer from Blackpool for defender Garry Kenneth, believed to be in the region of £75,000.
A host of Championship teams are believed to have been watching the 22-year-old in recent weeks, with Blackpool hoping to seal a deal during the current transfer window.
United were quick to reject the offer for Kenneth, who is currently under contract at Tannadice until 2012, as they look to keep the current squad intact.
Speaking to the Daily Record, chairman Stephen Thompson said: "We received an offer for Garry last week but rejected it immediately. We don't want him to leave and the figures mentioned were ridiculously small."
