Houston considers future

Dundee United, 14:26, January 25, 2010 ,

Peter Houston has hinted that he could change his mind over becoming Dundee United's permanent manager after a fourth straight victory.

The United caretaker watched on as the Terrors hammered Falkirk 4-1 away from home - a result that moves them up to third in the table, four points behind second-placed Celtic.
Houston has always stated that he only intends to hold the post for a short period of time, but has now indicated that he could be prepared to rethink his stance.
Houston stated: "I am still just taking things one game at a time. I am not going to say I am going to take it to the end of the season. I'll see what they have to say up the stairs and we'll take it from there."
Jon Daly, who scored a hat-trick at Falkirk, admitted: "I would love to see him getting the job and I know from speaking to other players, they would like to see him get it too."
