Dundee United have laughed off a reported move from Rangers for David Goodwillie, insisting the bid is way short of their valuation.

The Scotland Under-21 international has enjoyed a terrific season for the Terrors, helping the side back into Europe as they lie third in the table, five points behind Celtic and 12 clear of nearest challengers Hibernian.
Rangers had been linked with a £750,000 raid on Tannadice for the striker, but chairman Stephen Thompson insists that the offer is no where near what they would even consider for his services, and that he is determined to keep him at the club.
"We've had no contact from Rangers or any other club about David Goodwillie," said Thompson.
"I've seen the figures mentioned and the first thing I would say is that any club bidding £750,000 would be wasting their time.
"If that's all someone can offer then they shouldn't bother because it would take much more than that for us to give it any serious consideration.
"David is signed up on a long-term contract and we want him to remain with Dundee United."
