Agent cool on Strootman move talk
PSV midfielder Kevin Strootman's agent has played down talk linking his client with a move to Manchester United this summer.
The Dutch international is thought to be on Sir Alex Ferguson's list of transfer targets as he looks to bolster his midfield options in an attempt to regain the Premier League title from Manchester City. The 22-year-old has impressed for club and country over the last 12 months and his performances have not gone unnoticed among several big clubs in Europe. His agent Chiel Dekker though was keen to reiterate that any decision on his client's future, who is also interesting Inter Milan, would only happen after Euro 2012: "Inter Milan and the player? At the moment there is nothing concrete," Dekker told the Sunday Mirror. "Manchester United? The same. Personally, I find it rather difficult for him to leave the club because he only arrived last summer and has a five-year contract. "The boy is not worried at all and is just focused on his work for Holland. Eventually, after the Euros we will see what might happen."
