Ajax target Moisander
Ajax have reportedly earmarked AZ's Niklas Moisander as their number one choice to replace Jan Vertonghen in the summer.
Vertonghen has already stated his intention to leave the Amsterdam giants at the end of the season and is thought to be being eyeing a move to the Premier League with both Tottenham and Arsenal interested in signing him. Ajax have already started searching for a replacement and are said to be set on trying to buy Finnish international Moisander. The 26-year-old previously played for the club between 2003 and 2006 but never made it into the first team. However, after spells at FC Zwolle and now AZ, he has developed into one of the Eredivisie's best defenders and Ajax are now understandably keen to bring him back to the Amsterdam Arena.
