De Jong flattered by Bayern link

Twente striker Luuk de Jong admits a summer move to Bayern Munich would be a dream come true.

The 21-year-old was in exceptional form last term, scoring 25 goals in the Eredivisie as Twente secured a top-six finish. His exploits earned him a place in Netherlands' 23-man squad for Euro 2012. Bayern are known to be in the market for a striker during the close season, with Manchester City's Edin Dzeko and De Jong at the top of their wish list. "Bayern Munich are a fantastic club. It is my dream to one day play for them," De Jong told Bild. While welcoming Bayern's interest, De Jong insisted he will keep his options open. "I know there are a number of clubs interested in me. I have a three-year contract in Enschede, but if an interesting offer comes then I will certainly think about it," he added.
