Dost not keen on Villa
Heerenveen striker Bas Dost will not be moving to Aston Villa in the summer according to his agent, who says he's eyeing a bigger club.
The 22-year-old Dutchman has been a revelation for the club this season, as his 28 goals for Heerenveen have fired the club to an unlikely second place and a Champions League spot in the Eredivisie.
This goal-scoring form has led to the player being linked with a number of clubs all over Europe, with the likes of Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga and Villa rumoured to be interested.
But Villa are unlikely to be Dost's next destination, according to comments made by his agent Carmine Coviello.
"He refused a proposal from Aston Villa because he wants to go to a top club, we're offering him to clubs which can spend €10-13 million, because this is Heerenveen's request," said the Italian. "They are (asking for) a lot of money, but Dost is a monster in scoring."
