Eriksen to stay with Ajax

The agent of Ajax youngster Christian Eriksen has reiterated that his client is likely to stay in Holland for at least another season.

The talented Dane has been one of the Amsterdam club's stars over the last few seasons and played a vital role as they recently stormed to their second consecutive Eredivisie title. His form has attracted interest from the likes of AC Milan and Manchester United but the 20-year-old's agent Martin Schoot says Eriksen is likely to stay with the Dutch champions for at least another season as he is 'not ready' to join a big club. "The timing is not right as Christian needs to continue to grow in his game at Ajax," Schoot told Sporten. "Milan is a very interesting club and a big step forward, but I do not know if he is ready for such an important and great club yet."
