Koemen disappointed by Kuyt decision
Ronald Koeman has revealed his disappointment at the news that former favourite Dirk Kuyt won't be rejoining Feyenoord this summer.
The Dutch international looks set to leave current club Liverpool in the summer in a quest for first-team football and has previously been linked with a return to the De Kuip.
However, the forward has rejected the speculation as he would be required to take a massive pay cut and Koeman has now expressed his sadness at the news but says he understands the 31-year-old's decision.
"I respect his choice, but I think it's unfortunate", he said. "I can see why he's taken this decision, it's understandable".
"This was a very good time for us but unfortunately not for Dirk," he added.
