Roberto Rosales' agent says six clubs, including Newcastle and Porto, are tracking the highly-rated FC Twente defender.
The 23-year-old Venezuela right-back is being linked with a move away from Enschede after impressing in the Eredivisie this season and Rosales' representative Claudio Barrios says there is a host of top European clubs following his progress. He told the Evening Chronicle: "Newcastle and FC Porto are two clubs that are closely following Roberto. "There is also interest from two German and two Spanish clubs. But the transfer market will be open for a long time and I remind everyone that most deals will be completed in August." Rosales, who became the first Venezuelan footballer to score in the Champions League when he netted during a 3-3 draw with Tottenham in 2010, joined Twente from Gent for an undisclosed fee two years ago and has since made 84 appearances for the club.
