Twente move for Boyata
FC Twente have signed Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata on a loan deal, according to reports.
Boyata, 21, was linked with a move to De Grolsch Veste earlier this month and the Daily Mail now believes the deal has been completed. The Belgian defender, who had a spell at Bolton Wanderers last season, is thought to be keen on a loan move away from the English champions in a bid to secure first-team football which is currently limited under Roberto Mancini. Boyata could be on his way to the Eredivisie with Steve McClaren seeking a replacement for Brazilian centre-back Douglas, who is subject of interest from Fulham and Newcastle. Fulham have reportedly offered £4million for Douglas, 24, who has also been a long-term target for Alan Pardew.
