Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says his side must bounce back from Saturday's 3-0 defeat to West Brom with a win over Hearts.
The two sides meet on Thursday night for the Europa League play-off first leg at Tynecastle and Gerrard has now called on his team-mates to react positively. "After a 3-0 defeat everyone is concerned," he said. "It's important I and the other experienced players take responsibility for a poor defeat. "We have to put it behind us. We have to dust ourselves down and bounce back against Hearts. "We have to react in the right manner and look to put things right in the coming games." The return leg will be played at Anfield on August 30 with the winner set to join Tottenham in the group stages of the competition.
