Legend tips Bilbao glory

Former Athletic Bilbao great Andoni Goikoetxea has tipped the Basque outfit to beat Sporting and reach the Europa League final.

Bilbao have already taken care of Manchester United and Schalke 04 over two legs and are now just two matches away from a potential all-Spanish clash with either Atletico Madrid or Valencia.
Los Leones have earned the reputation as an entertaining team who like to play attacking football and score goals and Goikoetxea, who was part of the Bilbao side knocked out of the old UEFA Cup by Sporting 27 years ago, feels they can come through what he expects to be a hard-fought tie.
"It will be tough but I'm optimistic because I think Bilbao are a better team, and for this reason I'm convinced they will play the final," he said.
"This team has the chance to make history. They already have a King's Cup final and we'll see what happens in the Europa League."
