American admits 'love affair'

LA Galaxy's Landon Donovan has suggested that he may consider a move to Everton when his current deal runs out in the MLS.

The American midfielder has had two loan spells with the Merseyside club during the MLS close season and he could be in line for a permenant move.
With just over a year left on his current deal the 30-year-old still has some time to consider where his future lies, and after admitting he had a 'love affair' with the Toffee's a return could well be on the cards.
Donovan played 17 times over two loan spells at Goodison Park scoring twice in the process.
"I do think about them because they really stole my heart when I walked into Goodison Park," he revealed.
"Everyone was so unbelievably welcoming from Mr. Moyes to the tea lady.
"Right now, I need time to think and that is impossible to achieve while I am playing."
