Baines named in Team of Year
Everton full-back Leighton Baines has been rewarded for another impressive season by being handed a place in the team of the year.
Title-chasing Manchester City had four of their key players named in the line-up. England goalkeeper Joe Hart was selected between the posts while there were also places for defender Vincent Kompany and midfielders Yaya Toure and David Silva. Tottenham had three players included, with England internationals Kyle Walker and Scott Parker joined by last year's PFA Player of the Year Gareth Bale. Wayne Rooney was the only representative from champions Manchester United with the league's top goalscorer, Arsenal's Robin van Persie, joining him in attack. Champions League-chasing Newcastle have been the surprise package of the season and were represented in the XI by Argentina defender Fabricio Coloccini.
