Battle on for midfielder

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is in a race against time to be fit for the Merseyside derby with Liverpool on Sunday.

The Belgium international picked up an injury against Wigan two weeks ago but it was not discovered until he was away on international duty, he missed the draw at QPR last Sunday and is in a race to be fit for the clash with cross city rivals Liverpool this weekend. With doubts over Darron Gibson's fitness and the absence of Steven Pienaar, following his very harsh sending off last weekend, Fellaini's return would be a massive bonus to boss David Moyes.
