Boss' striker wish

Everton, 14:13, January 31, 2010 ,

Everton are looking to turn Landon Donovan's loan spell into a permanent move after his impressive start in English football.

Toffees manager David Moyes has been delighted with the way the USA forward has settled into life at Goodison Park and The People claim he is now looking at ways of keeping him.
Donovan opened his Everton account with a goal against Sunderland in last week's 2-0 victory which has led to talk of a £3m bid for him.
However, his club LA Galaxy are reluctant to sell the all-time leading goalscorer in the MLS and Moyes faces a battle to make the deal happen.
A source close to Donovan told The People, "There is a big chance he will stay here permanently but it would have to be sorted after the World Cup."
