Cardiff reject offer

Everton, 08:06, August 15, 2008 ,

Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale has revealed they turned down an offer, thought to be from Everton, for Joe Ledley on Wednesday.

Everton boss David Moyes is desperate to add to his squad, especially the midfield area, and the Welsh international wideman has been linked in the past.
Tottenham are also said to be interested in the player but Ridsdale says he is not available at any price.
"I turned down a bid for Joe Ledley on Wednesday," he told the South Wales Echo.
"We are intent on earning a promotion to the Premiership and that means keeping our best players.
"None of those on long-term contracts are available - at any price."
