City linked with Toffees ace
Manchester City are ready to make a move for Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell, according to reports.
City boss Roberto Mancini has spoken of his frustration at not being able to draft in the players he wants this summer but that could be about to change with a move for Rodwell.
The 21-year-old has had his problems on the injury front but is still one of the brightest prospects in English football and Mancini is ready to make a big-money bid.
Everton boss David Moyes will not want to lose the youngster but with the club's financial situation as it is he may be forced to cash in if a large offer comes in.
Moyes will hold out for £20million and that should not be a problem for City, who have yet to get the cheque book out this summer. Manchester United have long been linked and may enter the running again after missing out on Lucas Moura.
