Defender out for revenge

Everton, 11:24, January 5, 2009

Centre-half Phil Jagielka is looking forward to what he says will be a great occasion when the side take on Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Jagielka admits that neither side would have chosen to play each other in the fourth round of the FA Cup but he believes it will be another fantastic derby clash and they will be out for revenge after losing at home to their cross city rivals earlier in the season.

"It's a terrific draw for everyone, especially the fans," he told the Daily Post. "There will be a special atmosphere I'm sure and the fact that we play them just a few days earlier in the league makes it even more interesting.

"We didn't do ourselves justice at Goodison Park earlier in the season but we've got two chances to put that right now."
