Defender race on
David Moyes is ready to make another effort to land Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City but QPR remain favourites for his signature.
Moyes tried to land the defender last summer, according to the player's agent Kia Joorabchian, and with an injury hit back line the manager is set to make another move.
Everton have the usual problem though as they are unlikely to be able to compete with QPR when it comes to the fee, possibly around £4m although City may want more, or contract terms.
Also against them is the fact that new QPR boss Mark Hughes gave Onuoha his debut at City and is advised by the same agent, Moyes may have to turn his attention elsewhere.
