Dier calls time on Toffees

England youth international Eric Dier has decided to quit Everton and return to his parent club Sporting Lisbon.
The 18-year-old has spent the past two seasons on an 'Academy loan' with the Toffees, training and playing with the Merseyside club's reserve and youth sides.
Everton were interested in keeping the youngster, who was born in England but moved to Portugal as a child, either on another loan deal or on a permanent basis.
However, with first-team opportunities set to be limited at Goodison Park next season, Dier has decided to try his luck back at Sporting Lisbon.
"We wanted him to stay with us... we knew he wanted to be in the first team, even though there would be little chance," Everton manager David Moyes told Portuguese paper O Jogo.
"Maybe [coach Ricardo] Sa Pinto and Sporting have other plans for him."
