Drenthe set for summer exit
Royston Drenthe will not be offered a full time contract at Goodison Park when his loan deal finishes at the end of the season.
The Dutch winger has been away from the club for the past few weeks for what was described as 'compassionate reasons', but he returned and was expected to be part of the FA Cup semi-final squad.
But, after apparently turning up late to training last week, he was left out of the squad, disciplined by the club and has reportedly been told not to return to Goodison Park.
It would appear that his career at Everton is now at an end despite the fact that he has stated in the past he would like to join the club on a permanent basis when his Real Madrid contract comes to an end, although rumours of a move to Liverpool appear to be mischief making.
