Everton face a battle to keep hold of boss David Moyes as he was installed as immediate favourite to replace Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
Redknapp's reign at White Hart Lane was ended on Wednesday after a meeting with their chairman Daniel Levy and Moyes is said to top their wanted list after his excellent work at Goodison Park. Everton chairman Bill Kenwright will do his best to keep Moyes at the club but the manager has been operating with a severely restricted transfer budget during his tenure at Goodison Park. And the chance to manage a club with significant money to spend may be too much of a temptation for the boss to turn down. Moyes also faces the prospect of losing some of his quality players over the summer with Manchester United keen on Leighton Baines and Chelsea interested in Marouane Fellaini, so after ten years in charge at Everton he may decide now is the time to move on.
