Everton find new leader
After wreaking havoc on Manchester United, Belgium international Marouane Fellaini has been hailed as the new Duncan Ferguson.
The 24-year-old was just about unplayable on Monday night and capped his performance by scoring the only goal in the opening game victory over United.
He has received plaudits from around the country but keeper Tim Howard has paid him the ultimate compliment, by comparing him with Everton legend Duncan Ferguson.
"It was the best here against them since Duncan," he said. "It was dominant - classy in a lot of ways but some of it was determination and real grit too.
"Duncan had the same make-up in terms of being able to dominate someone for 90 minutes. I was happy to be on the right end of it this time.
"United just couldn't cope with him."
