Everton join striker race
Everton face a battle with Premier League rivals Newcastle, Swansea and West Ham to sign Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony.
Anzhi Makhachkala are also thought to be keen on the highly-rated striker who has been heavily linked with a summer move away from his current club.
Newcastle have apparently opened the bidding at around £12m and that may already prove to be too rich for Roberto Martinez who is operating under a limited budget at Goodison Park, unless he reluctantly sells one of his star players.
Vitesse are said to be holding out for £15m for the 24-year-old, who scored 31 goals in the Dutch top-flight last season and who has made it clear he wants a move, but that price is likely to make him too expensive for a host of his suitors.
Martinez has a host of targets as he looks to add 'one or two quality players' to his squad.
