Everton star wanted

Manchester United are once again being linked with a move for Leighton Baines and they are ready to make an offer of £10m.

Reports claim that Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to make the offer within the next week as he looks to get his transfer business underway early but he is unlikely to get a free run at Baines. With three years left on his present deal at Goodison Park Everton boss David Moyes has no need to sell him and with other clubs interested there is certainly no need to let him go for just £10m. Moyes does not want to sell any of his star players but maybe tempted to allow one to leave if the money on offer was sufficient to fund his own transfer plans and £10m is unlikely to do that.
