Marouane Fellaini says the club can be satisfied with their FA Cup run but must spend more if they want to go further.
The Belgium international wants the club's board to hand a healthy transfer kitty to David Moyes in the summer so he can make the necessary purchases that would enable the club to bridge the gap to the top sides in the Premier League. Moyes' men have again punched above their weight this season and, despite the disappointment of their FA Cup exit, they sit above big spenders Liverpool in the League table. Fellaini wants the club to build on their progress, he told the Post: "Our Cup run has stopped but we can be satisfied with how far we got, but I'd like us to be stronger and be more competitive than we have. "I hope the chairman will be able to loosen the purse strings this summer."
