Everton icon Marouane Fellaini has moved to quash the rumours he is set to leave the club in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old Belgian international, who is currently with the national side ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Croatia on Tuesday, has made a strong start to the Premier League campaign with the Toffees who sit in sixth place in the table. Champions League title holders Chelsea, who you can back using your free bet, were linked with a move for Fellaini over the summer as they hoped to add a physical presence to their midfield at Stamford Bridge. A move to the capital never materialised for the Everton star and he has insisted that despite the speculation, he is happy playing his football at Goodison Park. He revealed via his Facebook account: "I was very surprised to read in some newspapers that I will leave Everton very soon and perhaps next January. "Let me remind you that I am very happy in Liverpool and our start of the championship was good. "So with Everton, I am ready to play all the season and to reach our goals of this season."
