Aston Villa, Everton and Man City are reportedly on red alert after Alexander Hleb revealed he wants to leave Barcelona.
The former Arsenal midfielder has failed to nail down a first-team place at the Nou Camp after leaving the Emirates last summer for £11.8m and is not happy with the situation.
Hleb, 28, said: "I am right in the best years of my career and I do not want to spend those years on the bench."
City's spending power means they could blow both the Villans and Toffees out of the water although they cannot offer European football.
Bayern Munich are also keen on the Belorussian, who starred in the Bundesliga for Stuttgart before his move to Arsenal in 2005.
