Everton have not given up hope of landing former Blackburn winger Junior Hoilett but have decided not to pursue Hugo Rodallega.
The Canadian winger is wanted by clubs in Germany as well as Sunderland and Spurs in the Premier League but he has yet to decide ion his future after his contract came to an end at Blackburn. They would like to keep the Canadian at Ewood Park but that is not going to happen and the 22-year-old is holding out for a move to pastures new. Although he is out of contract, Blackburn would still be able to claim a development fee of upwards of £3m because he has come through the ranks at Ewood Park and is under 23, although this is unlikely to put off any interested parties. Meanwhile former Wigan front man Rodallega will not be coming to the club because the Colombian's wage demands are said to be excessive, he is thought to be after £70,000 a week, the 23-year-old striker netted twice for Wigan last season in 23 appearances.
