Late test for defender
Everton, 09:11, October 29, 2008 ,
Everton will give Tony Hibbert a late fitness test on his injured ankle ahead of tonight's clash with Bolton.
The defender had been expected to play at Bolton after sitting out the draw with Manchester United at the weekend but he will have to undergo another fitness test before convincing the club he is fit to play.
Striker Yakubu should be okay to play despite having a minor Achilles problem during the week and he may well spearhead a one man attack with Louis Saha dropping back to the bench.
Australian midfielder Tim Cahill returns after serving a three-match ban for his sending off against Liverpool and he could slot straight into a five-man midfield as an attacking option alongside Marouane Fellaini.
That would just leave Yakubu as an out an out frontman as Everton look to build on a much improved display against United at the weekend.
