Lescott looking to help out

Everton, 15:29, November 19, 2008 ,

Everton central defender Joleon Lescott is keeping his fingers crossed he makes the England side for Wednesday's clash with Germany.

Lescott is no longer an England debutant and is looking to help the newcomers of Michael Mancienne and Curtis Davies come through their first experience with the full senior set up.
He said: "The last time I was one of the less experienced players, so this time I'm a bit more experienced than some of the lads and it's quite a strange feeling.
"It's a great squad and everyone helps each other out, and we're all pushing in the same direction. I'm excited to be involved in this game. I'm raring to go if the manager needs me."
