Moyes eyes striker switch
David Moyes is being linked with a summer move for Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez but he faces a fight to land him.
Both Fulham and newly promoted Southampton are being linked with a move for the England under-21-striker and their interest has pushed up the asking price to around the £8m mark. That could put Everton off as Moyes will again face financial restrictions over the summer and may have to sell before he can add to his side. Although whether Moyes is willing to pay £8m for a player unproven at Premier League level remains to be seen, the success of Nikica Jelavic at Goodison Park makes Moyes' need for a new striker less paramount and he may chose to invest his money elsewhere.
