Moyes linked with Newcastle

Everton boss David Moyes and former Juventus coach Didier Deschamps are the early favourites to replace Kevin Keegan at Newcastle.

It is not the first time Moyes' name has been mentioned in connection with the St James' Park hotseat as he was touted as a possible successor to Sam Allardyce when he left at the beginning of the year.

Everton were very vocal about how much they wanted to keep Moyes at Goodison Park back then and there is unlikely to be any change this time around with the club determined to keep their manager.

Moyes has yet to sign a new contract with Everton and, until he does, the speculation will continue although there have been reports he will put pen to paper on a new deal at Goodison in the near future.
