Everton skipper Phil Neville is set to meet officials at the club next month to discuss his future at Goodison Park.
The 36-year-old believes he can continue to play and be effective at the highest level in the game for another two years and he is almost certain to be offered a rolling one-year extension to his current deal in the summer. At the same time, however, Neville wants to move into coaching - last year he helped England Under-21s for a game against Belgium - and intends to complete his A licence coaching badges this summer, so he will need to balance his football with his coaching ambitions when it come to a new deal. In the meantime he is set to make his 300th Everton appearance against his former club Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
