Strike blow for Blues

Everton's hopes of bringing Landon Donovan back to the club before the end of the season are over after the MLS strike was averted.
The USA international was a massive hit at the club during his loan spell and there were hopes that deal could be extend but they were thwarted by LA Galaxy who wanted him back.
Then came talk of a players strike over freedom of movement and Donovan said he may return to Everton if that strike happened but after three days of talks the prospect of a strike has been averted and with it an end to hopes of Donovan's Everton return.
