Striker to resume loan spell
Everton, 10:15, December 2, 2009 ,
Everton striker James Vaughan is still on course to join up with Derby County in the New Year and resume his loan spell at Pride Park.
The 21-year-old's original loan deal with the Rams was cut short when he damaged his cartilage but, following surgery on the problem, he is now back in training.
"If James gets a game or two at Everton between now and January, we will get up and see him play," Rams manager Nigel Clough told the Derby Telegraph.
"And we hope to get him down at some point for a training session with us, so he doesn't come in cold in January.
"We hope by then he is fully fit and raring to go."
