Striker worry for boss

Everton, 17:13, August 15, 2008 ,

Everton striker Victor Anichebe has handed David Moyes another injury headache after admitting to playing with a knee injury in China.

The striker is on international duty with Nigeria who face fellow Africans Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals of the Olympic tournament on Sunday but he has a knock.
"I was sure that I would feature in upcoming crucial games after overcoming the injury worries before our first match," said the striker.
"Then, it was like hell for me because when I tried to sprint, I felt a sharp pain in my kneecap.
"But I have been getting quality treatment to give myself the best chance at the Games. It's a lot better than when I first did it and I can jog now. So hopefully I will not feel it again."
