Toffees striker raid latest
CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love has admitted he would move to Everton, while Fiorentina say they want a fee for Giampaolo Pazzini.
Toffees boss David Moyes is desperate to bolster his forward line in the January window after losing Yakubu for the rest of the season, while Louis Saha and Victor Anichebe have both missed the last four games with respective injury problems. And £12million-rated Brazilian hitman, Love, who has scored 88 goals in 163 games during his time with the Russian side, has mentioned Everton as a possible destination when admitting his desire to play in England.
"It's good to know that important teams are interested in me," he said.
"Everton, for example, aren't the most famous club, but they are a good side and play in one of the biggest championships in the world.
"Off the pitch I would not have any problems. The only way that I need to adapt would be on the pitch."
Whether Moyes would have £12million to spend on one player is unlikely, given that he has been scouring for players to take on a loan deal.
Meanwhile, Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina appear to have scuppered one potential loan bid after reportedly demanding a fee from Everton, if they would like to take 24-year-old striker Pazzini on loan until the summer.
