Toffees' Zayatte bid talk denied

Young Boys boss Vladimir Petkovic has played down reports that Everton have made a bid to sign defender Kamil Zayatte.
Toffees boss David Moyes was reportedly looking to bolster his backline at Goodison Park with a bid for the 23-year-old Guinea international. However, Petkovic has confirmed that he is not aware of any interest and says the Swiss outfit have not had any offers for Zayatte.
Indeed, he revealed that the player is preparing to travel with the squad to face Hungarian outfit Debrecen in their Uefa Cup second-leg tie on Thursday.
"Kamil will quite normally travel to Debrecen," Petkovic told Blick.
However, if Moyes did step up his interest and make a good offer for Zayatte then the Berne-based club would find it hard to turn down.
