Coles worry for Grecians

Captain Danny Coles is a major doubt for Exeter's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Aldershot.

Manager Paul Tisdale has had the luxury of naming an unchanged back line for all four league matches this season, but with the defender suffering a groin injury, the Grecians boss looks likely to be forced into making an unwanted change. Tisdale has made clear that he is taking the cup competition seriously and is not inclined to make alterations to his starting XI. Following a run of three straight league victories, which included a 2-1 away win against the Shots, Tisdale will try to avoid any disruption to his team's form. He told the Western Morning News: "I'd like to keep the habits going and I'd like the players to build on the confidence of the weekend. "We've had some good times in this competition and reached the semi-finals two years ago, and I'd like to give it a crack this year too."
