Four doubts for Grecians

Alan Gow, Steve Tully, Craig Woodman, and Matt Oakley are all doubts for Exeter when they host Crystal Palace in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

Gow pulled out of the Grecians' final pre-season game against Yeovil after the pre-match warm-up with a stomach strain but is hoping to prove his fitness in time for the visit of Dougie Freedman's side. Tully and Woodman will also face a race against time to secure their inclusion in manager Paul Tisdale's starting XI after missing the Yeovil game with knocks. Midfielder Oakley is completing his recovering after spending nine months on the sidelines with a thigh problem.
