Paul Tisdale believes there is more to come from his Exeter side after they jumped into second place in League Two with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Burton.

First-half goals from Jamie Cureton and Arron Davies set the Grecians on their way to their best start to a league season for 12 years, but they did not have it all their own way. Burton had their chances but could not find a way through Exeter's stubborn defence and John O'Flynn wrapped up the points with the hosts' third goal late on. "If you call professional being considered and sensible and being good at the basics and being focused, then we were professional," Tisdale said. "I would like to see improvement in the performance over the next couple of months but if that is my starting point, then I am very happy." He added: "We have won three out of four and after the disappointing first day, I think we were still a bit damaged from that. I sensed a bit of anxiety, but the players played very sensibly and I am happy with what I am seeing on the pitch."
